BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Sdn Bhd is a 60:40 joint venture between BASF and PETRONAS Chemicals Group, formed in 1997. It produces acrylic monomers, oxo products, butanediol and derivatives, and aroma ingredients at its integrated chemical site in Gebeng, Kuantan, Pahang. The company employs more than 800 people and maintains a corporate office in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
